WHO CAN CONTRIBUTE:

Open to all Bay Area residents. FOGBODY welcomes submissions from anyone with a practice that matters to them. You don't need to be a professional artist or writer. What matters is that you have something meaningful to share. We're building this archive together, and your experience is what makes it valuable.

SHARING YOUR WORK WITH US:

FOGBODY is built on community trust and creative sharing. When you submit your work, we're assuming it's coming from your own creative practice and personal experience. We love seeing how different voices explore similar themes in their own unique ways.

Your work always remains yours – we're simply featuring it in FOGBODY issue 001, possible reprints, and promotional materials (like social media posts, website features, and launch event displays). You're completely free to share it elsewhere whenever and however you wish.

CREATIVE COLLABORATION:

We're excited about potential collaborations that might enhance the collective experience. This could include pairing visual artists with writers, transforming typed pieces into handwritten works, or finding other creative ways to connect submissions. We'll always reach out to discuss these possibilities and collaborate with your full involvement.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:

  • Submit up to 3 pieces total
  • All images will be printed in black and white
  • Contributors receive one advance copy
  • Publication scheduled for August 2025
  • Launch celebration in San Francisco
